About Our Pharmacy

Moss Pharmacy opened its doors in 1977 when Mr. Robert Tenny Moss started the original Pharmacy on 2nd Loop Road in Florence, SC. Tenny Moss and the staff at Moss Pharmacy built a well-respected pharmacy practice that focused on patient care and customized treatment options through compounded medications. After providing pharmacy services to the Pee Dee region community for 39 years, Mr. Moss transferred ownership to its current owners.

In 2016, Moss Pharmacy moved to its current location at 2500 Hoffmeyer Road in Florence, SC. New owners Bryan Ziegler and Jarrod Tippins decided to change the company name to Moss Compounding Pharmacy in order to reflect the continued focus and expertise in pharmaceutical compounding, customized medication solutions, and clinical services. Moss Compounding Pharmacy is currently located within the same building as THE Pharmacy, which provides traditional retail pharmacy products and services.

At Moss Compounding Pharmacy, we exist to help promote health and wellness for our human and veterinary patients through personalized medication solutions and expert clinical services. To achieve this, we collaborate with prescribers and patients as allies in the health care team to improve patient health outcomes and serve as the local trusted medication problem-solving experts.

We utilize our pharmaceutical expertise, an innovative mindset, and compassionate care to meet each of our patient's unique needs, all while striving to exceed their expectations of customer service and maintain the highest quality and ethical standards in our industry.
